CSRA-AHU's Mission Statement

CSRA-AHU will improve its member's ability to meet the health, financial and retirement security needs of Americans by providing a professional and ethical environment where education, advocacy, free enterprise and camaraderie thrive.

CSRA-AHU's Vision Statement

Every Georgia citizen will have access to private sector solutions for health, financial and retirement security and the services of insurance professionals.

CSRA-AHU's Strategic Plan

1. A significant percentage of licensed agents, brokers, consultants and industry-related professionals will be CSRA-AHU Members.
            1.1 Vitalize CSRA-AHU
            1.2 Develop membership kits for all members and industry related partners.
            1.3 Train Leaders in reasons to belong by developing highlight sheets.
            1.4 Develop and implement membership campaigns.
            1.5 Develop Media relations that will bring attention to CSRA-AHU
 
2. CSRA-AHU will exceed its members' expectations.
            2.1 Determine members' expectations.
                        A. Conduct surveys of members' desires.
                        B. Develop a plan to meet members' desires.
            2.2 Engage more members in association activity.
            2.3 Enhance communications. Quicker, Targeted, Focused
            2.4 Demonstrate the value of membership in all things.

3. CSRA-AHU will be known as a leader in industry and public policy.
            3.1 Increase CSRA-AHU Input into regulatory issues.
            3.2 Increase CSRA-AHU support of state legislative issues.
3.3 Inform and encourage members to become financially involved in the political process through HUPAC and the GAHU PAC.

4. CSRA-AHU will become actively involved on the state and national level of NAHU
            4.1 Increase awareness of value to members to be involved at all levels.
            4.2 Provide incentives to attend functions outside the city.

CSRA-AHU/NAHU Code of Ethics

  • To hold the selling, service and administration of health insurance and related products and services as a professional and public trust and do all in my power to maintain its prestige.
  • To keep paramount the needs of those whom I serve.
  • To respect my clients' trust in me, and to never do anything which would betray their turst or confidence.
  • To give all service possible when service is needed.
  • To present policies factually and accurately, providing all information necessary for the issuance of sound insurance coverage to the public I serve.
  • To use no advertising which I know may be false or misleading.
  • To consider the sale, service and administration of health insurance and related products and services as a career, to know and abide by the laws of any jurisdiction Federal and State in which I practice and seek constantly to increase my knowledge and improve my ability to meet the needs of my clients.
  • To be fair and just to my competitors, and to engage in no practices which may reflect unfavorably on myself or my industry.
  • To treat prospects, clients and companies fairly by submitting applications which reveal all available information pertinent to underwriting a policy.
  • To extend honest and professional conduct to my clients, associates, fellow agents and brokers, and the company or companies whose products I represent.
